LA FITA

LA FITA

I am Martí Torrallardona Raventós, son of a vine-growing father and a speech therapist mother. I have been lucky that my grandparents were also vine growers, and this continues today with the vineyards of Cal Nogués and Can Patomàs.

After training around the world, in 2021 La Fita was born with the aim of highlighting these unique family vineyards, caring for the landscape that has seen me grow, and expressing it through wine.

THE LAND

We work the land organically, incorporating some biodynamic practices while maintaining the Mediterranean mosaic of cereal, olive trees, and vineyards.

Always with native varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Malvasía de Sitges, and our beloved Sumoll. We love to observe nature, with its changes and its slow rhythm.

It couldn’t be any other way: in the winery, respect for the fruit is fundamental. We make our wines with minimal intervention but with the utmost precision and knowledge.

Spontaneous fermentations are key, as they help express the origin of our vineyards in the Anoia River Valley.

THE WINERY

Wine has always been made both at Cal Nogués and Can Patomàs. We still remember the old presses in the house and the barrels going up and down everywhere in both families.
Today, only traces of that past remain, which we strive to recover.

La Fita was founded in 2021, partly thanks to La Xarmada, an incubator for small projects that allowed me to materialize this winemaking dream.

Today, we produce closer to home, at Torrens Moliner, a winery that has provided us with space, a place that truly feels like our own.

THE WINES

At La Fita, we currently produce three white wines, a sparkling wine made using the ancestral method, and a single-varietal red wine from Sumoll.

We understand wine as a reflection of the vineyard it comes from, letting each vintage speak for itself, knowing that it will be different year after year.

In vinification, we work with various materials: French and American oak barrels, stainless steel tanks, and glass demijohns.
